The duo that started it all...
Tuni Blackwelder
Tuni has been in the fashion industry her entire life. She grew up the daughter of ambitious clothing manufacturers and more often than not found herself immeshed in rows of sewing machines, fabrics, and spools of thread; the Garment District of New York City was her playground. She continues to accomplish her life's work along side her daughter, Paige, as the two evolve Tuni through the infinitely growing fashion industry.
Paige Blackwelder
Paige was born into a world of fashion and design. She grew up working in the fashion industry at her family’s business, Blackwelder's Department Store. After graduating from the University of Central Florida her and her mother joined forces to establish one of the trendiest high-end boutiques in Winter Park, FL.
Paige has always been involved in the community, but her favorite has been serving as Chair of Park Avenue Fashion week several times. She's looking forward to the return of it in 2022. She was previously named “Chairperson of the Year” and both Paige and Tuni have served two terms as the president of the Park Avenue Area Association.
A note from Paige Blackwelder on the day it all began: "We opened the store together. We were shopping on Park Avenue after a hair appointment one day and couldn't find what we wanted. We thought Park Avenue needed a store with trendier offerings. That same day we saw a "Store for Lease" sign and started the negotiations to open our store!"
